Oh, I know, I’ve seen the US networks’ coverage of the Olympics. Pretty pathetic. Don’t get me wrong, I can understand the natural inclination to give more coverage to the sports where your (or my) country is a serious player, but running fluff pieces when there’s actual sports going on is pretty poor. CBC’s coverage usually seems better balanced and more sport-oriented. We’ll see how CTV’s coverage of the games goes.
Wish we could get your feed. And may I say, if the American isn’t going to win a medal in a given sport, I am always happy to cheer on the Canadian or the Brit!
