With my CCP, I can buy and carry it immediately ... but you cannot have a loaded weapon at the show. But then so can anyone else who passes a background on the spot carry their purchase away from the booth.

I live in CA,i will never have a CCP and when you buy a gun you have to wait 10 days before you can take possession of it..
