If I remember right, the Republican good-old-boys-club in Alaska did very similar stuff to Sarah.

I'm seeing the same people on other forums who attack Palin support and defend Medina's statement on Truthers. Libertarians are out already, fulfilling their usual role, and encouraging her and her supporters to go third party if she loses the primaries.

Here is a libertarian claiming the statement Medina retracted was just fine:

A Question for Glenn Beck on Global Warming and Conspiracy

Medina has a core of supporters whose real goal is not to elect her but to split the Tea Party movement.

Splitting the Tea Party is not true. The “true” Tea Party can not be split. The majority of Tea Party members are not on forums, they are not on GB, they are not at Republican meetings, they are not an organized entity. They are individuals that are sick and tired of BIG GOVERNMENT!
What’s wrong with having a “core” of supporters? I thought that is how people got elected in the first place.
