Agreed. There have been quite a number of threads on the topic of Palin making an appearance to support McCain. I don't think anyone in the forum is focusing on what it might mean for McCain. Everyone is focusing on what it means for Sarah. In particular, those who don't like Sarah are trying to use it to make trouble for her.
What I would expect, if she does make an appearance, is that she will give him general words of praise as a patriot and a man who has served his country, and say that it was an honor to have been chosen as his running mate in 2008.
I doubt that it will persuade a single conservative to vote for McCain.
He's scared and desperate is what that says to me. Never mind if they could help him, which I don't think they can.

I would just love to see the back-stabbing SOB go down. I'd get as big a thrill out of Hayworth beating McCain in the primary and I did out of Scott Brown's victory in the special.
