The Towers were 2 big tubes with an exo-skeleton. Once the plane fuel started fires inside the "tubes", it weakened the few supports inside. I saw an account of a woman trapped in an elevator. The elevator car caught fire from the plane fuel running down the shaft. She knew first hand that it wasn't brought down by explosives.
