FWIW, the Olympics are using two mountains. The one just outside Vancouver (Cypress) is where they’re hauling snow by helicopter. Whistler, two hours away, has over 10 ft. of base.

Most skiing events will be at Whistler. Snowboard, and freestyle skiing will be at Cypress.
