The whales scene was amazing......you’re right it’s getting bizarre. A mix of “Where the wild things are” and “Revenge of the nerds”
You are absolutely right in everything you’ve just said, and eloquently I might add.
Before FDR, families took care of their own. I know mine did, and FDR was long gone by then.
Right outside of Philly called Manyunk. Still have all of my relatives in or around there and Chester, Norristown. Dad lives down here now close to Quantico. I go down there to go shooting with him.
Spent some time in Quantico. Met some real nut jobs there. But I did get a feel for the camaraderie.
I know the Packard building. Where on Broad is the Chrysler building.
what I said!
PA has some strange names. My dad lives in the Poconos in a house he built himself. Town uses more H’s than you can imagine. All Indian names.
LMAO..where was the hockey, beer, donuts, moose, and Rush?
Thanks. I am good at words. I sharpen my sword in dangerous turf, too.
Also.. Nat King Cole.
We buried Mom on Jan 13 in Maryland and I asked my brother to end the service with “Smile.”
Nooooooooooooooo. You’re right. It was the Packard building! They made jeeps there during WWII
Oh maaaaaaaaaaaaaan.. I was listening to that today!
Part of my anti-women movement!
I could walk there from my hotel.
Yeah - But nice nutjobs. Dad has 20 acres down there and some hellacious parties ! The older hierarchy was exactly what he needed after my mom died 10 years back. Once a marine ...you get it.
Yeah. I had a choice of taking my commission it Navy or Marines. They almost had me!
One brand new 2 Lt I met was absolutely wacked. If he’s not in the brig or Leavenworth I don’t know why.
Nice building on the edge of the wasteland.
It was right downtown. But yeah. It sucked.
I only had to walk 2 or 3 blocks, but I was vigilant, let’s say.
