I think otherwise. As long as there is Hussien and the Congress being controlled by Reid and Pelosi, I think that no democrat will be safe in November. Those three are becoming radioactive poison to the American people. Scott Brown and the governor’s races in VA and NJ are testimony to that.
The two Republicans who won the House seats in RI in the modern era did so because they ran against damaged or weak incumbent Democrats. Claudine Schneider took out Ed Beard in ‘80 and Ron Machtley took out the scandal-tarred Fast Freddie St. Germain in ‘88. Even in the great year of ‘94 when Machtley vacated it to run for Governor, we couldn’t hold it, and none other than Patches himself won.
