If not, Dustin Johnson won again at Pebble, going back to back but limping home to do it. He birdied 18 to finish at -16, 1 shot ahead of J. B. Holmes and DAVID DUVAL who kicked ass today on a very windy and cold day where low scores were hard to find.
I’m making this prediction crazy or not. We’ve seen Steve Stricker come back from the dead to #2 in the world. I think David is going the same way. Maybe not all that way in the rankings, but top 10-20 in the world? WHY NOT??
As left as his politics were(or still is?), he’s at complete peace with himself and is settled down family wise bigtime!! If he almost shocked the world by winning at Bethpage last year, and this great finish at PB, I’m telling ya I smell another Stricks. I really do.
Race was fun except for the track problems. 2 years till they repave DIS? Maybe that gets moved up to next year now??
And I'll claim the last caution in my Green-Caution-Green-White-Caution call even though what would have been caution #10 wasn't thrown until after the checkers.
All I have to say is be thankful I didn't get the Wheels of Cheddar in the FR league :-) . I jumped back in another Yahoo league, and that got me 312.
