The cat PROBABLY was just trying to get the dog in trouble...

There’s gotta be a Far Side that covers this situation.

Cat deniers, cat haters and cat bigots always blame the cat.

“The occupants believe the fire may have started when the family cat knocked over a burning candle.”

Burning candles left unattended = not a good idea, cat or not.

There is absolutely no proof that the cat started it. The article says it started from a candle that the cat MAY have knocked over. Or maybe the dog, in true John Kerry fashion, knocked over the candle and started the fire, just so he could be seen as the hero.

“It started in the front portion of the home, where Saundra Frazer had fallen asleep.”

“The occupants believe the fire may have started when the family cat knocked over a burning candle.”

She fell asleep with a burning candle, but it’s the cats fault?

Well to be fair the human(s) left a candle burning. Not a very smart thing to do. As far as it being knocked over, could it have been the work of “Viking Kitties’’?
