Little has changed this month in Missouri's race for the seat being vacated by retiring Republican Senator Kit Bond.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of likely voters in the state shows Republican Roy Blunt leading Democrat Robin Carnahan 49% to 42%. Just three percent (3%) of Missouri voters would opt for some other candidate, while six percent (6%) are undecided at this point.
In January, Blunt held a 49% to 43% lead over Carnahan, who is currently Missouri's secretary of state. That survey marked a shift in Blunts favor from a poll conducted in December, when Carnahan held a modest two-point lead. In September, both candidates were at 46%.

Remember how badly Carnahan treated his constituents when they attended one of his town hall meetings.
Disgraceful.
Looking good! Wow, the numbers outside of K.C. and StL. must be tremendous.
Wasn’t Carnahan the heiress to the throne that her husband left after a plane crash several years ago? I thought we didn’t have royalty here in America. Kinda fought a war over it, if I remember.
The “don’t knows” in these polls just need to be excised from the voter rolls. They’re the ones who have no idea whatsoever how government works, or should work.
No. This is the daughter. She is the Secretary of State here. Every Carnahan in existence is in some sort of elected office. I’m not a big fan of Blunt, but Carnahan would be a liberal rubber stamper and Jabba McCaskill is one too many already.
Carnahan was appointed after her husband was killed before the election, in a fight between Mr.Carnahan and John Ashcroft.
Not the same Carnahan. This is Robin Carnahan, you are thinking of Russ Carnahan.
Robin has been busy wearing out several sets of Obama knee pads though.
Oh, thanks. How many Carnahans are there in MO.
Same family. Robin and Russ are spawn of Mel and Jean Carnahan.
“Mel Carnahan married Jean Carpenter in Washington, D.C. on June 12, 1954. They had four children: Russ Carnahan, a member of the United States House of Representatives; Tom Carnahan, founder of Wind Capital Group which builds wind farms; Robin Carnahan, who was elected in 2004 as Missouri Secretary of State; and Roger “Randy” Carnahan, who piloted the plane and perished in the same crash that killed his father.”
Mel and Randy crashed in 2000 leading to Missourians voting a dead man as our state senator.
Carnahan, too...
"Over the years, Robin Carnahan has maintained close ties with the embattled liberal organization ACORN - furthering their goals and whitewashing their record of corruption and fraud. So the Missouri GOP requested all email correspondence between Carnahan's office and ACORN to determine just how cozy their relationship really is. We received more than 1,400 documents."

Great because you did it!

What kind of man is Blunt? How is he on the issues?
It will not happen again. ACORN can play with few thousands votes but no more.
Well, if you watch the Dem’s attack him on TV, he’s so corrupt (they’d call him a murderer if they thought it would stick), he is all that is wrong with MO right now. The fellow attacking him isn’t even identified, at least I sure don’t know who he is...
This is Robin Carnahan, daughter of Mel and Jean Carnahan. Mel was the Missouri governor running for the U.S. Senate when he died in a plane crash. This was three weeks before the election.
John Ashcroft, out of respect for the family, suspended his campaign. Mrs. Carnahan filmed a campaign commercial. When her (dead) husband was elected to the U.S. Senate, the Acting Governor appointed her as promised.
She then voted against Ashcroft’s nomination for U.S. Attorney General. We need to rid ourselves of the garbage.
More good news.
End political family politics and name brand politicians.
