That recess appointment hypocrisy appears to be a two-way street.

While most Presidents use recess appointments, two things are unique here.

First, 177, if true, is an extremely large number. Truly abusing the system. OTOH, I am sure several of these will deeply embarrass the President when their Communist or Socialist pasts are exposed. Saturday night Van Jones resignations are no doubt coming.

Second, and more ironic, is that it is most often used when the other party controls the Senate. That this President who has 59 votes in the Senate and still needs to resort to this tactic should be telling of how weak he has become. The large number is probably just to disguise that this is all about SEIU and the stymied appointment of Becker.
