Trying to reverse Corzine's troubles...

This will make or break Christie. The legislature is still controlled by Democrats. I wish him luck because he will need it.

Christie’s certainly got enough mass. All he needs is sufficient acceleration and he’ll have enough force to mow down the NJ Legislature!

Checked in for unemployment yesterday and was told that there is no money to pay and we will be credited for the two weeks. Whatever that means.
Thank you New Jersey.

Every now and then NJ shuts down it’s online and phone claims. This is not the first time this has happened.

This guy is impressive. He communicates very well and is addressing the problems head-on. Could Texas borrow him?

Thousands of New Jersey residents lost Wall Street banking and finance jobs - followed by construction jobs and the service sector (Atlantic City).

Good for Christie. The only thing I’m worried about is will it be enough?

I know his position on abortion changed from pro-choice to pro-life, but I haven't heard a position change per the picture above. I'm sure Texas could do better than a moderate like Christie.

"This guy is impressive. He communicates very well and is addressing the problems head-on. Could Texas borrow him?"Perhaps he could stop off in PA on his way to Texas. Our budget is none too healthy either. (Thankfully, Ed Rendell is term limited.)

My husband’s job was one of those banking jobs lost.
After over a year he got a call over the weekend from a frantic employee needing my husband’s expertise to solve a major problem.
Hubby was good natured about it, but I assure you I was fuming. That wasn’t the first time they needed his help.

We only need him for the budget. We know he has a fulltime job ;-)

Luckily it has not happened to me, I would probably panic...

We have survived a lot of hard times in our lives. This was a shock but we have savings as we were always waiting for the next emergency.
But coming in the same week as we learn that we are paying $60 each more for Medicare and then not getting the unemployment check means belt tightening again.
All in all, we still give thanks to God for our blessings.
