The scary thing is this happened pretty late in the campaign. Sometimes these kooks slip through the cracks and get elected. Look what happened in the Dem. Illinois Lt. Gov. Primary.
Its because some people get so caught up in being anti this or anti that, they will embrace anything that seems to also be anti, even if it means setting aside rational thought.
That's because the two debates (I watched both) were so poorly run. Medina never got any tough questions. And the panel doing the questioning in the second debate were worthless, asking stupid things that had nothing to do with anything. The second one was not a debate at all. A debate is between candidates. That debate was between the questioners and a candidate.
This is where the question should have been put to Medina about her views on 9-11 truthers, and my bet is she is in the antiwar crowd too, but no one has ever asked her that either. She also believes in legalizing drugs but that is on the quiet too.

During the first debate, she had a pretty good, although little, fauxpas about legalizing drugs, that perked up a lot of ears. I just figured she was just being pragmatic, but this today on Beck is too much.
Beleive Beck’s right, this was the fast-track back to 4%.
Exactly! Which is why we need to be asking the same "Truther" question to Rand Paul, who's running for US Senate in Kentucky. Well, Rand, do you believe in 9/11 Trutherism?
