I would appreciate all the references to homeschooling to cease...DUH! of course it’s better. Fact is, though, many of us are not in a position to be able to, so other ideas to STOP these 15 commie idiots would be appreciated.

Anyone within 50 miles of where this group meets better be in their car affording the time and energy to interrupt their meeting...and, someone with a video camera please forward the film to www.pajamasmedia.com, Newsmax, start a thread on Freep, and any other site.

Homeschoolers have just as much right to add to the discussion as anyone else. The more people we can convince the better. In truth, there are very few people who can’t homeschool their children. There are alot more that aren’t willing to make the sacrafice.

I agree. I have no problem with homeschooling or homeschoolers, I am all for it.

But for some reason, on these kinds of threads, it seems if you aren’t a homeschooler yourself, you’re a bad parent or not willing to sacrifice for your children, blah blah blah. Let the attacks begin...

Hey, HOMESCHOOLERS, some of us NEED to work in order to pay for things like RENT, and UTILITIES. And as much as we’d love to homeschool our precious children, having a roof over our heads and food to eat, is a a bit more important than sending our child to a government school.

And while I don’t agree with what all the govt school is teaching my children, I know I can do my share when they are with me to teach them what is right and wrong and set them straight if they are being taught something incorrect. But homeschooling is NOT the only option and I am NOT a bad parent because I am unable to or am not “sacrificing” enough to...

And by the way, considering these progressives have been changing history and what they are teaching in school for decades, I went to government schools and I did just fine.

You can homeschool if you WANT to. Sometimes it just takes more creativity.

E-mailing, calling, sending a letter too the 15 people that have this "vote" are about all there is to do. There are other more drastic measures, but all of that I can think of would end up with a long stay in prison.

Homeschoolers are not going to stop and shut up and slink back into a corner just because you don’t like hearing about it.

Don’t think that we don’t try working with the school districts. Why do you think that so many of us have chosen homeschooling? It’s for the simple reason that we didn’t get any where with them.

Vote the school board out. Contact the board of education. Write the newspapers. Go to the local school board meetings. Rattle some cages.

Unfortunately, public schools are so viciously larded with marxist, homosexualist, leftist, racist and atheist junk - lies - that any child going to public school will be influenced. Plus all the “peer” influence of kids whose parent/s teach them nothing of value, let them watch total crap on TV and computer, listen to vile stuff, etc.

Add to that the sexual molesting going on with teachers (lots of it) and from other kids (ditto), it’s worth any sacrifice at all to teach them at home.

Yes, on average homeschooling is far superior.

And you are correct that some parents absolutely have no other option than institutionalize schooling in the government schools. These parents are too poor, too stupid, too dysfunctional, to ill-educated, too lazy, too sick...etc.

Yes, there will always be some children that need institutionalization for their schooling. We need orphanages too, but no one would consider an orphanage to be the best place for rearing a child.
