I remember a Made for TV movie from the 70’s. I think it was called “Doppelganger”. It was about a planet in earth orbit on the other side of the Sun. When the astronaut gets there, he is charged with abandoning the mission half way through and returning. It was a mirror image of Earth. When he tries to find the history of the planet, all the books say “It all started, with the Perfect Order”. Very Orwellian.

The movie was called "Stranded in Space". See the MST3K version

That was the UK title of the movie; in US is was called “Journey to the far side of the sun”. Anyway, great flick.
