I live in Canada, and have changed GPs about 4 times, and have seen different doctors at walk-in clinics on weekends when my GP was off.
Also, my GP referred me to a specialist I didn't like, so now he has referred me to a different one.

My Mom has changed doctors 3 times in 10 years.

I don't want to change doctors (love mine), but I could do so at any time, and I don't need permission.

I do agree with one thing Cousin Madeline said. Do Not pass Obama care.

That is the impression she has, and she is a very astute lady. Will have to have hubby ask her about it next time they talk.
