Just curious, why won’t a glass top stove work? Or an “outside propane barbeque cooker with a side burner”?
Well, I’m not completely sure the science of it..I just purchased a pressure canner and that was the warnings on directions...
Glass top stove - The standard canner (I think 23 qt) is too heavy. It’s supposed to be ok with the smaller pressure canners.
Outside propane - supposed to be too hard to regulate propane, therefore temperature/pressure.
