"it's an unwritten rule in the mormon church that all should have a year's supply of food on hand."

I went to a Mormon food storage center today to buy some supplies. I'm not a member but they were glad to help me, very good folks. The Mormons definitely know what they are doing when it comes to long term food storage. They have cans for sale and caners on site that they will let you use. Their Mylar bags and 02 absorbers are the best and cheapest available and they also have the best price on wheat and beans.

i’ve only known a handful of Mormons in my lifetime, exclusively while i lived in colorado, but they were ALL good people.

I wish the cannery here would be a bit more open. I got one invite, and it took me a couple months to get it. I love to go again.
