"I think they must have misquoted or transformed her words, because I find it hard to believe Palin would support amnesty, considering what other things she supports." You do realize that there's video of her saying those very words, in context, at the link, right?
One of two things is possible, she was either lying then, or she's lying now.

Not you too!
God help me - the scales are falling off.
The lines are being drawn.
NO, this movement is not about any one leader, including Sarah Palin which she said over and over again.
And every “leader” is accountable to “the people” of this country - which she also said over and over and over again.
Sarah Palin has zero fear about her positions on any issue.
She is solid, she is humble, and she is right.
And anyone who truly doesn’t see this yet - I would suggest they move on and do their own thing. Fine.
Have a good time.
But stay the heck away from here....

Ummmm....I did not hear her state that she is for amnesty or illegal immigration. I don't speak spanish, but the text of the interview was plain to see.
Do you then favor an amnesty for the 12 or 13 million undocumented immigrants?
No, I do not. I do not. Not total amnesty. You know, people have got to follow the rules. They've got to follow the bar, and we have got to make sure that there is equal opportunity and those who are here legally should be first in line for services being provided and those opportunities that this great country provides.
To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?
I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.
In any case, she believes with what I do. I am ALL for immigration, as long as it's done LEGALLY!!!
