This is more about John McCain than Sarah Palin. If she doesn't distance herself from McCain and his position on amnesty, she is shooting herself in the foot. It is very disappointing to see her endorse Maverick McCain over JD Hayworth.

I spoke to her advisors last year at CPAC. I told them that she needed to keep McCain at arms length because he is toxic and that she needed to revise her position on amnesty.

She is supporting Rand Paul, she agrees with some of his views but not all of them.
Same thing with McCain.
