I understand the parsing of words in this case is ambivalent, but can't that "pathway to citizenship" be construed to mean, "MUST return to Mexico first and await the usual immigration protocol"?

Just sayin'.

FWIW, I'd prefer Palin to come out ablaze ala Tancredo.
