Perhaps, but I don’t know the rules well enough to be sure. On procedural matters the Senate ordinarily acts by unanimous consent. The Republicans could object to a motion to stand in recess.

PUBs should object to EVERY single “unanimous consent” motion until this insanity stops. That means sitting still for EVERY bill being read out loud; debating EVERY motion to adjorn and demanding countless quorum calls.

A non-functioning government is better than an out of control government.
