Comic books with commie propaganda?? Who’da thunk it? Check Matt Groening’s(The Simpsons) rants against Nixon. Groening celebrated when Nixon died.

According to to Mr. Quesada, the book was ready to go to printer, but the panel in question had a group of protesters handling signs with no words on them, so the editor asked the letterer to "fudge in"

I thought in the earlier article he claimed that the letterer or editor had CHANGED what he'd put into the art and that the original would appear in the later reprints.

So will they be blank then? Or protesting the cancellation of Conan O'Brien's talk show?

It's pretty sad when comic books not only get political, but join the socialist side.

I heard Rush talking about this yesterday.

Comic books and cartoons are moving beyond their pay grade when they presume to speak on politics and current affairs. What are going to see next? Can we expect to read of Daddy Warbucks battling Rachel Maddow for the control of health insurance companies?

the problem for Marvel is that libs look down on comics and their kids( if they have any) don’t form the comic buying demographic. Its conservatives kids who purchase them.

What’s needed is to have Capt. America show up at Tea Party rallies. Any one have the costume that can attend or even make one for a future attendee?

Oh yeah! We need Capt. America to show up at Palin rallies! Would that be cool or what? Make sure he gets great face time standing next to the Palinator shaking her hand! Go Cappy!

According to to Mr. Quesada, the book was ready to go to printer, but the panel in question had a group of protesters handling signs with no words on them, so the editor asked the letterer to "fudge in" some quick believable slogans at the last minute. The letterer referred to this sign as a sample to work from.

Always glad to help the comic strip guys out!
