This is what happens when you believe the inside-the-beltway hype and bs. Sen. Hutchison is having a real hard time in her governor’s race because of her in-the-beltway mentality. She didn’t get it in 2008, either and it’s coming back to bite her.
More Palin supporters know who Senator Ted Kaufman (D-DE) is than Obama supporters. I guarantee that.

Tennessee has joined several other states in trying to pass a Health Care Freedom Act. NO COLAs for granny, retired Military or retired fed employees. BIG NEW fees for Tricare for Life retired over 65 Military's secondary health ins. (DOD bill already passed, delayed but goes into effect 2011)

I would like to take an assessment of current events from any random Palin supporter and Kaufman and I bet the former would know far more than the latter.

Congress attempting to wreck a healtcare system that 80% of Americans approve of.
Congress spending more that it takes in.
Executive branch treating terrorists like shoplifters not enemies of the state.
Congress and the executive branch not letting US getting our own oil, natural gas and coal...

Hmmm, I think there was a recent survey that gave scientific support to the proposition that those of us on the right are on average better informed about politics and government than those on the left.
I guess Sen. Kaufman is an example of this: he’s unaware of the survey and just speaks on the basis of his prejudices without supporting facts.
So tell me again, who doesn’t follow what’s really happening in the U.S.?
Kaufman has his head so far up his butt he actually noticed he had no wisdom teeth.
