Why did Mizz Myers have a tough time getting through her Senate hearings? Could it be because of all the hell that was raised by grass roots Republicans that brought out the truth that Myers was out of her league to be considered as a Supreme Court justice? Do you think that might have made Republican Senators just a wee bit nervous about angering their base and endangering their re-election. Do you think these Senators might have gone to the President and told him that they couldn't support his nominee and she should withdraw before he and his nominee were embarrassed by defeat?
Facts are stubborn things.
There are none so blind as those who will not see.
SO true! Only about yourself.
Why did you evade my question about John Roberts and your giving yourself (I presume) credit for his nomination?
Where are your links sourcing your accusation that John Roberts was not George W. Bush's nominee, but rather was a "grassroots" nominee?
We can argue all day about Harriet Miers (where is she now, anyway?), but that doesn't change the FACT that you made a false accusation about John Roberts, nor does it alter the FACT that Sam Alito now sits on the Supreme Court and that President Bush chose him.
They (facts, that is) are stubborn things. Ignoring them will come back to haunt you.
Ummm....she never made it to the Senate hearings..
brought out the truth that Myers was out of her league to be considered as a Supreme Court justice?
Gee whiz...we just got Sonia Sotomayer confirmed...Meirs looks like a rocket scientist compared to her or Ginsburg for that matter.
