It’s very likely that they will “announce” their bomb.
I don’t think they will explode it: Just making an announcement is a fact (or a political drama) that they CAN control.
If they “announce” they are going to explode their bomb (before it explodes!), then they are going to set themselves up for a major failure and embarrassment. If they thought their bomb would really work, then they’d simply blow it up as a surprise.
But “announcing” a bomb is a publicity stunt that requires no proof. And gives them all the “glory.”
(Hmmmn. More likely, if they really “knew” it was going to blow up, they’d ship it FedEx to Jerusalem THEN blow it up unannounced. )
Either a live test or a publicity stunt is probably all that is needed for Israel to justify a strike that they have been preparing for over the past year.
