Yeah, it’s taxpayer money. I was merely pointing out that the part about Eunice Kennedy Shriver was just that one part of the NIH was named for her.

Keep in mind that although she was a Democrat, Eunice Shriver was one of the “good” Kennedys. She started the Special Olympics and personally helped the disabled for decades, this was in response to the plight of her sister Rosemary Kennedy (who her father had lobotomized as a teenager). Eunice Shriver along with her husband (Sargent) also completely rejected the pro-abortion position of the Democrats.

I am aware of the things she did, and I recognize that she is a "good" Kennedy. My parents were Kennedy Democrats.

I think RFK would be repulsed to see what the party has become.

That being said, thanks for the information on where the money came from. As usual, the elite give money that doesn't come from them, and for projects that the majority would never give to, if given the choice.
