I’ll tell you one thing, that Obama is no Spencer Tracy! Heck, he’s not even Dick Tracy!

I’m sure the crowd was handpicked, and the questions will be selected in advance, in order to make him look like he’s actually answering questions on the fly. Thanks STARWISE.

I wish one Senator from the Republican side would say ( in case Obama refuses to start from scratch and dump the House and Senate Monstrosities) something along the lines of:

" With all due respect Mr. President, for the past 9 months of your presidency, while the economy is suffering the worst recession since post WWII, you were pushing a massive overhaul of 1/6 of the American economy. Healthcare ranks well below jobs creation--the American public is concerned not only about the poor health of the economy, but the alarming growth in government proposed in your recent budget. Instead of addressing the underlying sources of the economic downturn, you are proposing a massive spending increase that will further burden an already suffering American public.

This discomfort was seen in the Tea Parties disparaged by members of your administration, your fellow party members even in this Congress, and those sympathetic to your policies in the media. We, on the other side of the aisle, put forth our ideas in H 3400. The ideas presented in that bill were dismissed outright. Instead, leaders of the opposition party met behind closed doors, shunning Republican voices, and making the sort of deals that would make the former management of Enron blush.

The Americans spoke again in Virginia, New Jersey, and the 23rd district of New York. Instead of heeding those voices, the American people, the employer of you and I, your administration further disparages the outcry of the public. Your compatriots began to intimate using all sorts of questionable schemes to defeat the time honored traditions and practices of this Congress. Do not think for a moment the American people have not been paying attention to what has transpired

They spoke loudly in January with the election of Senator Brown, with the unmistakable message to 'stop' the current course of action from the White House and fellow travelers in the Congress.

Your administration has spent the last year ignoring the most egregious problems facing this country to pursue an agenda that was rejected 16 years ago. It is the height of arrogance to come before members of the opposition with the implication that we have not been 'playing ball'. The ideas put forth by the opposition were offered in good faith and were not given any consideration whatsoever.

Mr. President, I recommend that the best interest of this country will be served by manning up and working together to address the number one problem in this country--the economy. Scrap the health care. My party is willing to work with the White House, but not at the expense of the American people or the underlying foundations that have made this the greatest nation in modern history. Thank you."
