Sadly, the push to normalize homosexuality from entertainment, the news media, and the government is working. Little by little the stigma is lessening. We live in a small town, far removed from a major metro area and my husband, who teaches and coaches, has noticed that even heterosexual teenage boys have started cuddling, holding hands, etc. At FOOTBALL practice! Even more frustrating for him is that he is the only teacher/coach to make them stop. Of course, they laugh and call him ‘homophobic’.

I’m not quite 20 years out of high school, but I can only imagine what the farm boys I went to school with would have done if another boy had climbed into his lap. Attitudes among teenagers and young adults are changing.

That’s just not right. I have a HS age son that’s into sports and can assure that nothing like that is going on at his practices. Fags is still fags around here and certainly not a norm.
