Taleb: Buffett's Track Record Means Completely Nothing, I Have Proof George Soros Is The True Oracle

In an ai5000 article next to a studio shot with a stuffed black swan, Nassim Taleb makes it clear he has far more confidence in the investment acumen of George Soros than Warren Buffett.

ai5000:

"I don’t want to spend too much time on Buffett. George Soros has 2 million times more statistical evidence that his results are not chance than Buffett does. Soros is vastly more robust. I am not saying Buffett doesn’t have skill—I’m just saying we don’t have enough evidence to say Buffett isn’t doing it by chance."

Buffett has enough money to be a liberal Dem—In other words, he has enough money such that the tax increases he advocates wont’ hurt him.

I have always felt that Buffett is both smart, and lucky; and that his luck is greater than his smarts.

Why not. He is the one marking the cards. The real problem is when he decides it is in his interest to throw his followers under the train.

When it comes to understanding and trading markets, Soros is as close to pure genius as you are going to find, irrespective of the fact he’s a full blown fascist progressive.

Buffet was mostly in the right place at the right time applying simple principles that worked in the period of history we were in, but certainly wouldn’t work now. He never impressed me much.

You are not gambling with an investment if you have the power and connections to “fix” all the details behind the deal to make it pay off. I think that is how Soros has become such a good investor. He fixes the deals he is in. How about the $3B US taxpayer money to Brazil that Soros will profit from? Think that was an accident?

Remember when Hillary was an accomplished pork belly trader that couldn’t miss? If she was that good, why is she not still trading pork bellies??

These people are stealing us US taxpayers blind.
