Fat boy Murtha is sitting next Teddy right now. I bet it’s hotter than hell!

Hey, they tried this with Ted Kennedy’s death also. All it got them was a Pubbie in the fat, ol’ drunkard’s Senate seat.

Not to worry.

Cohen will not get the Dem nomination for his seat, so he will be out of congress in January.

He represents an African-American district and got the nomination last time because the top nominees split up the vote. That won't happen again.

Cohen, though ultra-liberal seems to be pushing healthcare so as to secure some position in the Democrat party.

In all seriousness, the healthcare bill passed the House by 220 to 215. Since that time, the one RINO who voted for it said he’s now opposed. Another Dem. congressman resigned, and now Murtha has died. So now we’re down to 217 in favor, right?

It’s a Democrat/Wellstone tradition.

Rename, repackage, rewrite it a tad smaller, and sell another pig in a poke.

Tennessee has joined several other states in trying to pass a Health Care Freedom Act. NO COLAs for granny, retired Military or retired fed employees. BIG NEW fees for Tricare for Life retired over 65 Military's secondary health ins. (DOD bill already passed, delayed but goes into effect 2011)

New Dem mantra: Woof, woof eat dog food granny....ala let them eat cake.

Yes, that’s right. But what we DON’T know is how many congresscritters from bluedog districts got special permission from Pelosi to vote no, because their votes weren’t needed. So there’s an unknown number of such people that he can call on to vote yes next time.

OTOH, it’s becoming more and more obvious that Obama is a career killer. So, she may lose a few of the people who voted yes last time.

And, of course, there’s the abortion issue. Will Stupak be able to hold his troops on that?

In other words, only the insiders know for sure what the situation is.

I didn't watch the vid (I prefer text, thank-you), but from the headline it appears to be of dreadfully undignified, and downright ghoulish.

Seems to me the top of a Dem’s coffin is one of the most highly trafficked areas in the world.

Wow!

When did Murtha die?? I never saw this!

What news! What did he die from?

Was it the left sided wallet syndrome, where your left hip has to take so much pressure from all the money in your wallet; or was it just the gag reflex where your latest lie biles up in your throat??

I’m so proud. This makes me weep tears of pride, ala Teddy. What a wonderful past few months its been. Let’s keep up the pressure on these goons to self-expire.

I saw this exchange on TV, and was surprised to hear the claim that his intestine was perforated. I wondered how they managed to do that because I’ve always thought Murtha was a gutless wonder.

Yeah, that worked so well when they tried to make Health Care Reform a part of the Ted Kennedy legacy. Maybe we will be just as fortunate with John Murtha and a Republican will be elected to his seat, as well.
