The GOP candidate needs to run promising to vote AGAINST Obamacare..that will make it an interestung referendum..
The week after Scott Brown won in Massachusetts, I got a robo-call by one Tony Amador, announcing his candidacy for the California 11th district against Jerry McNerney.
Amador's call said that he was campaigning on using taxpayer dollars to fight terrorists, not to give them lawyers.
It would be an interesting experiment to see if that sentiment resonates in western Pennsylvania, too.

when will they hold a re-election? Who will fill in temporarily?
The probable GOP candidate is William T. Russell (http://russellbrigade.com). He came close to beating Murtha last time. He is former military and is reliable on gun rights, border security, taxes, pro-life, and national security.
I’ve been contributing to William Russell’s campaign. I’m sure he is AGAINST Obamacare!
What I wonder is who the Dems will put up against him now.
