*** A section of an under-construction power plant that exploded was too unstable to search Monday, and left questions about whether anyone was trapped inside because authorities do not have an exact roster of everyone who was on duty at the time of the blast.***

Don’t they issue “brass” tags to each construction employee at the start of a shift? Don’t they collect it at the end of the day to make sure all personel are accounted for?

In such an emergency, don’t they have designated points around the plant for personel to go to so they can get a head count?

Have they been calling homes to make sure employees off duty are accounted for?

depends on the Union, the safety department, and that this is startup, not operation

During operation, tags and lockouts are more prevelant, but I dont think that’s an issue here, I bet someone just did something dumb

We spent a Hundred Grand to get rid of the Brass in system and time keepers, many of whom were on the pay role twice along with other phantom employees, Union Jobs. Went to swipe cards which we controlled and issued personally.
