I hope not, only because he was originally operated on at Bethesda, and they could do without the bad PR.
About a year and a half ago, I almost bled to death from gall bladder surgery. The doc did that micro cut and when he removed the bladder he nicked my liver. I've learned that it's not that uncommon, whats uncommon is that I didn't quit bleeding from it.
He went back in, with a much bigger cut and fixed it......all's well that ends well..
He billed me immediately, for one surgery. I paid my max $1,000 co pay but the hospital never billed me or my insurance company.
Could be; peritonitis/sepsis at his age would be tough.
