he was not CFB base commander, as media "reported". The suspect was 8th Wing commander stationed in CFB Trenton. Quite a difference.
Someone in the media wants to keep 8th wing out of the bigger picture. Move on, folks, nothing to see here...

8 Wing is the primary lodger unit at CFB Trenton, in this case, Wing Commander = Base Commander.
