I dunno. Reagan was given hell because he wrote everything on 3 x 5 index cards. I think as a speaker you have to go with what works. Sometimes I do completely impromptu talks; other times, when I want to get quotations and #s right, I use prepared notes.
I agree, I’m just pointing out, they mock her for hand notes when the bobblehead in cheif they try to defend as smart can’t function without reading every word, literally and often improperly.
Reagan was in a class by himself that wasn’t matched by anyone the entire last century. His writings, in his own hand, have PROVEN how brilliant the man really was.
