Hopefully the Republicans are smart enough to not fall for Rombo’s tactics, but there is reason to think they’re not.

Tell that to the ‘pubs Jim. Maybe we’ll hear a loud THUPPING noise as they pull their heads out of their butts.

Of course they are. Divide and conquer.

Rahm Emanuel has been calling different Republicans

We need fewer "different" Republicans. Replace them with the boring, old fashioned conservative type. The ones who want the POTUS and Congress to follow the constitution.

These "different" Republicans are useful idiots.

When the Democrats had their 60 vote majority in the Senate, they didn’t care about the Republicans. Now the game has changed. ‘Bama has also summoned his minions in the MSM to intensify its Hate Campaign against the Republicans-we’ll soon see what they’re made of.

Rahm is calling the Republicans for "ideas"?

What more proof do we need that those idiots don't know what they are doing?

Let them get out of this mess by themselves.

Silence is Golden.

“DeMint, a one-time friend of Obama’s when the president was a senator”

I would have to question why DeMint would ever be friends with Obama?

"Right now their whole strategy just seems like they want to divide us," DeMint said. "The president has had his people calling different Republicans. It's not a matter of going to [Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell and saying, 'Let's work together.' They're trying to just pick off a few Republicans."

Which is a great strategy if it works. So I suggest DeMint stop whining and work on keeping those Republicans in the fold.

Stranger things have happened. It's well known that Orrin Hatch's closest friend for years was Ted Kennedy.

Here’s another one for us to keep an eye on for 2012. I like what I’ve seen and heard so far.

The Ole Boys Club in the Senate is a strange combination of people. They fight like cats and dogs in front of a camera, then they are the best of friends in the back rooms. I say none of them are to be trusted.

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

They’re comin’ for YOU, Mr. DeMint!

Or could it be a case of "keeping your enemies closer?"

I’ve said before, the Senate is like a country club. There are only 100 members. They fight with each other in chamber, then wine and dine with each other after hours. The majority of them are or have been lawyers, and this is what lawyers do.

Some think because Senators have a D or R after their names, they are mortal enemies. It simply isn’t true.

Consider the source. This reporter is the same person who did an entire story on an interview of Patrick Kennedy saying Scott Brown’s election was “way overblown.” In fact, this story sounds like a lot of BS. DeMint and Obama were colleagues in the Senate. I simply refuse to believe that DeMint would waste a lot of time hanging out with a socialist.

the country wants us to slow down and go step by step

I'd rather see "slow down and shift into reverse..."

The simple act of sitting down with these clowns gives legitimacy to the “problem” and by offering any sort of “solution” you are making their case that something needs to be done.
Then they will rip you a new one denigrating your ideas as “mean spirited” or whatever meme they can come up with.

Its a trap, unless you pubbies are prepared to insist they see things your way and not theirs.

And be vociferously steadfast in your opposition, calling them out on their insanity.

Something pubbies don’t seem to want to do except for the rare De Mint.
