The ad was OK, but not earthshaking, nor terribly controversial.
The fact that leftist would try to ban this commercial truly shows how these people are truly modern day facists.
Tim Tebow is the best college quarterback ever! He, also, is a very fine Christian gentleman!. I’d be pleased to know him!
They showed themselves to be pro-abortion and not pro-choice. Just as we have stated and everyone suspected the entire time. The only acceptable 'choice' for the baby butchers is abortion.
The add was not only well done, it was brilliantly rolled out and handled by Focus on the Family for maximum impact.
Well done Pam, Tim, and Focus on the Family!
Rope a dope is a good way to put it.
The ad was brilliantly understated. When I saw it, I thought “that’s it?”. The ‘a’ word was never mentioned, just the message that perseverence in favor of life is a virtue. The abortion crowd looks completely foolish for its opposition.
I agree. We saw it with our teenage sons, and all reacted with - “what’s the problem? Nice ad - nothing for anyone to get upset over”.
Ditto my exact sediments!
Rope-a-dope is right. Got the left in a tizzy over nothing and got tons of free publicity courtesy of the state run media.
I thought the ad was poorly portrayed.. I would have said up front that I thought about having an âAâ but if I did see what would have not happen. Lets give all kids a chance to live who knows you might have a teabow! And If you don’t you still have a special child ...YOUR CHILD!!!!
I’m in total agreement here. They were brilliant. The ad was benign...but the pro-abortion baby killers came out looking really really bad. Their hate was only surpassed by their stupidity in getting trapped. Good going FOTF!
This episode reminds me of Joseph Goebbels, who headed Hitlers information ministry. When he saw the opposition make an effective point in the international press, he would not respond, thereby forcing his enemy to carry the full weight of popularizing the position. Here is a quote from his diary on March 27, 1942.
If I were on the enemy side, I should from the very first day on have adopted the slogan of fighting against Nazism, but not against the German people. Thats how Chamberlain began on the first day of the war, but thank God, the English didnt follow through. I gave orders that the German press is not to publish or discuss turns of speech (similar to Chamberlains) such as are being used increasingly in the American press. One should simply not talk about such things. Even if you argue about them you nevertheless spread them.
The actual expense of the ad generated countless dollars of free advertising.
Ummmm lets see.... innocent as doves and cunning as serpents? Send word out that you are doing a pro life ad out weeks before the superbowl. Let the left generate all kinds of furor for weeks all over the countries media. Then put out an innocuous ad, make the left look like alarmist idiots.
PERFECT.
by the way same thing that was done to us when clinton was testifying for his impeachment. Word leaked out that he was shaking and mad etc.etc. video came out and it was innocuous. Made the right look bad and turned off the center.
The ads were great Tim Tebow and Mom
Ditto PERFECT !
I’m glad that it was low key. Classy while subtle still sends the right message.
Where can I see the left’s ad? I’m sure it’s full of horror, lost education, broken up with boyfriend, can’t get food stamps or worse.
The idealist dems love making mountains out of molehills.
One thing I thought of was that the pro-abortion crowd is all about “women’s rights” and women being strong and in charge. The line at the end where mom says “You’re not as tough as I am!” was quite telling. It takes strength to do what she did.
I can’t believe that there was even the slightest amount of controversy over that ad. It could just as easily have been an ad for flowers or life insurance.
So, basically, the ad said, “My kid is really great!”
