The best speakers I know all use notes to make sure they hit all their points. None of them, however, use teleprompters...so what’s the issue?
This is exactly right. The greatness comes from their own personal inner passion which doesn’t translate well with a teleprompter. That was originally meant for newsreaders.
When you speak from the heart, it’s important for most to have some kind of notes to be sure you’re on track & not missing any points you meant to address & be sure you maintain focus.
The teleprompter was meant for newsreaders who are supposed to read us the news dispassionately.
