In my mind, one thing is sure. If it gets to the point where Texas or Texas and other states are provoked into leaving the Union, all this legal mumbo jumbo won't amount to a hill of beans.
It's stated in the Texas Constitution we have an *inalienable* right to do so. Whether it's legal or not means very little at that point.
