From the article:
The “Frank” passage and the ones that follow, however, tell us something suggestive about Stanley Dunham, namely that he frequented otherwise all-black bars in an area rife with prostitution. That a black woman — perhaps a friend of Davis’s — gave birth to a child of Dunham’s may explain “the complicated, unspoken transaction between the two men.” If this were the case, it would have caused far less societal stress for Ann Dunham to assume maternity of her little brother than for Stanley Dunham to assume paternity of his son.

It seems finally there’s a theory that makes it sensible for Obama to hide his parentage and yet be a natural born citizen. It sure took them long enough.

The irony of the “theory” would be that Obama is indeed a natural born citizen assuming the “friend of Davis’” is/was an American.

If the “theory” were true, I would understand the desire to suppress the information for fear of embarrassment or unjust criticism - Steve had little to say about the determination of his existence.

The “theory” also provides an interesting rationale for the birth announcements released in the local papers.

But the massive nature of the fraud involved would not be diminished.
