It might attract some qualified clothing designers and hairdressers that could improve the military’s image ;-)
I live in a Navy town (but got out of the Navy 20+ years ago) and judging from the drastic uniform changes every few months the Navy is trying, I think the “clothing design corps” is already working at full strength!
