As of 10:00 am, I measured exactly 24” on the nose on my patio table in Columbia, Maryland.
20” at our place in Sterling, VA so far. Fun times!
Socked here in western PA. Over a foot and still snowing.
I miss sliding down big snowy hills on chunks of cardboard and flying saucers and especially, missing the trees along the way too..
Not sure how long this stuff will stick around,, we do have some car racing and baseball to play real soon..
any way to export this stuff to Vancouver? they need it bad.
Just a bit north of you in Carroll County. Pretty incredible out there. Hard to say how much because it’s been pretty windy and everything’s drifting, but we’re definitely to the 2 ft. point, and right now I think it’s snowing the hardest it’s done so far.
Stay safe!
That system started out as rain here in Tx. Wish we would have gotten some of the white as well-—not that it sticks around for very long here in N. Tx. but the little we get here in winter is welcome—IMO.
A lot less in Southern Maryland.. I’m headed out to go cruising with my tow rope & shovel. ulled one out of the ditch in front of my house last night.
22” in Annapolis, MD but more to come.
Yeee-Hawh!
Here in NW Lower Michigan we have a dearth of snow this year.
Two feet of snow brings everyone out to ski, snowshoe, and drive our gas-guzzling Dodge Hemi Ram 4-wheel-drives around, polluting the atmosphere.
Oh, by the way. Was AlGore anywhere in the vicinity for this?
At about 9:30, I measured about 30” in an exposed area off Tamar Drive, Columbia. Part of that was probably drift, but still.......
There are 5 foot drifts over cars in my building parking lot at the wind-swept end.
29 inches and still counting here in Waldorf... we continue to be under a Blizzard Warning in Southern Maryland. The Vancouver Winter Olympics venues have NOTHING on us!
**Images of Brian Boitano and Scott Hamilton dancing in my front lawn** Ahhhhhh!!!
Now you have an idea of what it means to live in Buffalo (as I do). We get what you got at least twice a year. There are worse things that can happen to you.
