No idea why this writer thought Obama was formidable. He had a poor speech, and his Q&A had an “other worldly” air to it as if he couldn’t understand what anyone was was asking him.

I agree with you on that one. The fact that this was the introduction to the article told me immediately that anything from that point on was suspect. Obama was simply Obama. Informing the Republicans that they had to do “what was best for Americans instead of looking to the coming elections” was clearly nothing more than the usual “if you don’t vote the way I tell you to then you are clearly wrong” approach practiced by Obama. Only those who are in the tank for Obama didn’t recognize this approach as pure Obama intolerance. The meeting with Republicans was nothing more than a photo-op and those of us who aren’t blinded by our own ignorance could see it for what it was - clearly NOT “formidable” as the article stresses.
