WARNING: Offensive Content Seeking to Describe Transsexualism
Folks, Americas rapid descent into post-Christian chaos continues. The 11-5 U.S. Tax Court decision below now gives a (sizeable) monetary incentive for men and women steeped in gender confusion to go through grotesque and horrifying, body-disfiguring sex-change operations. Im saying this as someone who attended a female-to-male transgender conference where I witnessed young, early-twenties women showing off their newly-flattened chests after their healthy breasts were surgically removed in their quest to be like men.
Yes, in the Brave New Transgender World, trans women cut off their healthy breasts while their male counterparts seek to grow a feminine-like pair in a pathetic attempt to become like women. (And pathetic doesnt begin to describe the MtF male-to-female transsexuals effort to create a makeshift vagina from his surgically-dismantled, once-healthy penis.)
Note the last paragraph in the AP story below: this poor man yes, he is still a man Rhiannon ODonnabhain actually sought a deduction for his follow-up boob job, after he had already grown fake breasts by taking female hormones. (The latter augmentation deduction was denied.) Who could make this stuff up?
Men were never intended to have sex with men, nor were they intended to try to turn their bodies, as God made them into female bodies, as God made them. Wake up, America: your judicially-approved tax code is now creating incentives for one of the most tragic manifestations of rebellious mans claim to know better than God. In the meantime, Mister ODonnabhain needs our prayers.

Let's all burst into song!!!
Okay, even if you accepted the argument that he’s a she now...she’s still ugly.
So, coming soon: Bestialists claiming their animal friends as dependents. Or spouses. I know it’s coming. You know it’s coming.
Can I deduct the expenses twice and stay the same way I am?
Man, Beauty is only skin deep but ugly goes straight to the bone!
Well, don’t want to start a firestorm here, but I have firsthand (maybe it’s second hand) experience w/that problem. I know it’s virtually impossible for people w/out this “gender identity” problem to understand this, but think of it as a deformation of the soul/part of the mind that controls how we feel about our male or femaleness. I don’t know why it goes wrong (from birth) but it does. It goes wrong before anyone gets a chance to abuse or cause environmental factors to influence feelings of sexuality. I’ve seen it happen to my daughter, who thought she was a boy from the time she could speak. It’s terribly painful for her and us. She’s not getting a sex change but I can tell you, it’s no easy deformation to have. Sometimes “as God makes you” is very deformed; from a deformed body to a deformed mind, this world is fallen and we need to extend compassion to folks w/this terrible malady.
A follow-on article at the link repeats the PC error of calling these mutilated individuals by their “chosen sex” pronoun - in this case calling a mutilated man “she”.
The proper pronoun for such a person is “it”. It is not a “she” as any chromosome test would tell. Its breasts are the result of heavy hormone doses, not nature. It has no ovaries or other female plumbing - and never did have. It is not a “she”.
Of course, as it (willingly) has no testicles or penis anymore, calling it “he” would reflect the chromosomes but would be against its will, so “he” isn’t appropriate either.
It’s an it.
Stupidty. We need to kick out the liberals for a century to fix the mess they have made of our government and society.
Well, at least they refer to it as a mental disorder.
It must be a terrible cross, and you are absolutely right about us needing to show compassion.
Obviously you know this subject intimately and seem to be opposed to a sex change—can you elaborate on why? I’ve been trying to sort out this issue myself and I have a suspicion that sex changes don’t help any, but I’d like your opinion.
You are absolutely right. The fact is that “deformed” people are born every day. Some of these “deformities” can be corrected and they are corrected. I’m thinking of cleft palet for one. No body would suggest the condition not be corrected because they were born that way. I defy anyone to explain how gender mistakes are any different.
I’m sure you’ve considered your daughter’s situation carefully and, with her, have chosen the road you and she are traveling. But if it were me I would support my son or daughter’s efforts to make his/her physical self match his/her mental self. For me, condemning someone to homosexualality is far more troublesome than undergoing a sex change.
I’m not particularly opposed to a sex change operation for her, she is. The thought of it freaks her out, probably because we are Christians and she was raised Christian and truly knows and loves Jesus. But that doesn’t seem to make this cross that much easier to bear; I tell you it is just about shear hell on earth for her, and me as her mother. Plus I hear that people who have it done aren’t necessarily happier and they don’t feel quite right even still; maybe I’ve heard wrong. Yes, we need to grab onto the Lord and, I like the way the poster put it, perhaps “until we hear Him breathing”, it is so so very hard though and the pain is ongoing. It abates at times, otherwise we’d be dead from it, but it always returns. The calling, however is hers, and only He can make it apparent to her.
Also some people are born intersex, and sometimes it's not physically apparent.

You might want to get your daughter to a therapist who is familiar with gender issues.
If nothing else works, and she is suicidal (for instance), her being prescribed and taking testosterone alone may be enough.
