Nobody said the Constitution was a distraction — but certain uses thereof certainly can be. The proportion of people demanding anything with regard to this issue is miniscule ... which is why it is dead.

Your empty definition of minuscule hardly qualifies the issue as being dead.

You have no idea what proportion of the people are looking at this issue. February 27, 2009 at one of the first Tea Parties in the country, a guy went to most of the attendants and asked if they believed he was eligible. The overwhelming majority said NO!

There is more interest now than ever before.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

If it is soooooo dead and buried, then why did Obama give the issue CPR and an electro-cardio shock at the National Prayer Meeting?

Hm?...Could it be the polls showing massive numbers of Americans who either do not believe Obama was born in the U.S. or have serious questions about his eligibility? Maybe?

It's dead because we're for the most part a dumbed down population who wouldn't know the Constitution if it came up and slapped us in the face. And when people try to bring up important issues related to the Constitution, the dumbed- down useful idiots join with the 'usurpers' to try to ridicule them into submission and silence.

You are falling into the category of protesting too much about something that a lot of people are interested in.
