In the course of our discussion it was asked if he really would support a president who had a Christmas tree ornament with a picture of Chairman Mao - the world's worst mass murderer".
His response was to say "Mao may have killed many people, but he also did a lot of positive things for China.".
It was at this moment that I fully realized the magnitude of the evil we are facing - it is beyond description.
Of course such evil would want Glenn Beck institutionalized (or worse).
“Mao may have killed many people, but [who are we to judge].”
That’s his mindset, and the mindset of a lot of postmodern libs.
They know that if they were to judge the behavior or actions of anyone, they are admitting that there IS a standard, and the logical slippery slope leads to the idea that that standard has to be objective, and then it leads to where that objective standard comes from, and that opens a whole can of worms into a world they don’t want to face.
Stewart was a member of the SDS in their student commie glory days. He gets very prickly when anyone points out that commies have murdered more people than Hitler ever dreamed of murdering.
Really, people like Stewart who have a history of affiliating themselves with the USSR, Fidel, etc. should be viewed as the same poison the same as those who affiliated themselves with the Socialist Republic of Germany.
Beck dared point out the obvious and the Left HATES it. It’s the fault of conservatives that this truth has not been told loud and clear, year after year. We should organize people who have escaped communist nations into cultural education groups so the memory of the victims of communism/socialism are not forgotten.
Anybody who claims to be a conservative and doesn’t have at least a slight case of Obama Derangement Syndrome is an absolute fraud.
