Let me count the ways. I would be posting all night. It is great to see this implosion. It is like MA overthrew their chains and serfdom. They woke up out of a fog.
I saw an interview with an older woman during the election from the Boston area. She said they could finally vote for someone other than Ted Kennedy. Before that it was impossible to unseat him or even think someone else could run against him. Their money and friends made sure of that.
The tone in her voice said it all. Pure disgust.
Political dynasties and political marriage hand-me-down positions should be verboten no matter what political party they've signed on to.

Kennedy’s old man made his money (bigtime) during the time when alcohol was banned (had an underground system)....the Kennedy’s have been made out (by the press) to be royalty....and we’re sick of it! It’s all been a sham...

For decades they’ve demanded certain treatment because of who they were. They’ve taken advantage of many people they were meant to serve. Their connections were deep and people were afraid to oppose them.
That ended a little when JFK Jr. died. There was no longer an heir apparent. But Ted still lived and his presence still commanded fear. He’s gone and none of the new generation (saving the one who died in the plane crash) are anything like their precessors except in their morals. Arnold’s wife is probably the closest they have to normality in that family.
Without Ted I suspect his family is going to have a far harder time winning or holding office now. Even Democrat’s would like nothing better then to finally push that family aside.

They have always been an untouchable, and sleazy, New England aristocracy. I think what's happening now is a combination of two things.
In addition to the anti-incumbent movement sweeping the nation, the generation that can remember JFK's assasination is dying off.

Then daddy Joe started pushing his sons to go in to politics and they have pushed the envelope of liberalism and big over reaching gub mint ever since.
