A large wooden cross was placed at an Air Force Academy worship area for pagans and other Earth-centered religions, prompting an investigation by academy officials, though some caution that its hardly destructive behavior.
Mikey Weinstein, founder of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, said an Air Force Academy staffer spotted the cross erected with railroad ties lying against a rock at a worship area for pagan groups at the academy in Colorado Springs, Colo., on Jan. 17.

and a straw death is not a burning death. Its a death of old age, lacking in glory.
Show me where the word hell is in the bible.
Hel was a goddess, daughter of loki, guardian of the dead. the realm of hell is a cold place, no fire. They will be given a second chance in the ragnarok to redeem themselves.
and not all pagans are witches and ride brooms and dance around nekked holding hands while talking about what hot topic has on sale.
but all of this aside....
an atheist by definition has a belief that there is no way that there is a god or gods. If someone has a belief in a god, be it the same god(s) as you or not, that makes them *NOT* an atheist.
If they are not one of the “major” religions, and they are not an atheist, then they fall into he pagan category.
After much hard work, the pagan groups were able to get a place they can call their own so they can have some space to do their own thing, and someone at the base just couldn’t stand that. Someone who couldn’t uphold their oath to the constitution by seeing that these people couldn’t be free to exercise their *own* religion.
And you really believe all this? Have you never taken any science at school? This has got to be a put-on.
and the zombie son of the invisible sky wizard is any more believable? Granted its MUCH simpler.
That's well put, but Jesus (Yahshua is his real name) said if we loved him to keep his commandments. (John 14:15) (Luke 6:46)
If you knew the origins of the Christmas tree and what it really represented, and how it displeases the Lord, you may consider doing away with that tradition. Dec. 25th is not the Lord's birthday either. The Lord warned the Pharisees about putting their traditions of men before obeying God (Matthew 15:2), and in the book of Revelation he has some pretty harsh things to say to the Church!
I attended a study recently over this controversy, and it was a little hard to swallow.
Early Christians used the fish symbol based on Jesus' statement to his early disciples, "I will make you fishers of men."
Ever wonder why the domains of the angels happen to line up exactly with the domains of many pagan gods that predate them by hundreds or thousands of years? and not just nordic gods. germanic gods, egyption gods, shinto gods, etc.
The Bible reveals the existence of the gods you follow. They include ashtoreth, ba'al, moloch and dagon. Christians are aware of them, we call them demons. Your gods know about our Jesus and they tremble with fear at His name.
Has it ever occurred to you that everything satan offers is a weak counterfeit of what God has promised us? Just like your master's empty promises, the gods you chase are watered down counterfeits of the true God's gifts to those who willingly follow Him.
I agree with you 100 percent. And as a Christian I have no argument why pick on me? Please see all my arguments in this thread and get back to me.
That is what *you* believe, and i’m not going to stop you from believing it.
I just ask you that you respect my right to believe what i want to.
i’m not one of these ACLU types who want all religion removed. because its unfair. I just think its a hate crime that enough people wanted a worship circle, got a circle, then had it spoiled by someone who hates pagans. Just as much as i think burning down a church is a hate crime. throwing a cross at someone will not “save their soul” even by your own standards just as someone throwing a crescent moon at a church will convert them to muslims.
no, being tired and lazy does that. Don’t really have anything better to argue the points on so you have to attack my spelling and grammar? How christian of you...
This *is* just like throwing a swastika on a Jewish temple.
You go too far. Muslims kill my brothers and sisters every day, Nazis killed six millions Jews and there is growing anti-Semitism across the planet today. There is no comparison between Christianity and these movements of hate. Whether they should have done so or not, the person who did this placed a symbol of locve on that circle, a commemoration of a man allowing Himself to be tortured to death so that others might live.
Take a good, long, hard, honest look at the Voodoo cults in Haiti and Louisiana and the pseudo-Catholic practices in Mexico and Central America.
That's how pagan god worship begins. Foolish people reject the true God because they want to do their own thing; demons tickle their ears with what they want to hear.
Melkor, I hope you are ready to spend eternity with the things you chase. When reality sets in, you will find it unpleasant. You still have time, but nobody but God knows how much.
Want to have fun? Shake your fist at heaven. Demand the true God to reveal himself. Shout at Him to prove He exists. If you're looking for excitement, I promise you that you won't be disappointed. Believe me; I know.
I’m not picking on you, just answering your post and that of a few other people...sort of an all-in-one reply, you might say.
You claim to be tired and lazy, yet you demonstrate that you've had ample time to learn Alinsky's methods of argument.
Everything except for that whole “crusades” thing.
Oh and don’t forget the northern crusades where the Kings were so eager to appease the church that they would hunt down and murder anyone who would not convert, including their own citizens. Many many wars were fought over it in Scandinavia.
but again.. all of this aside...
If someone wants to worship, say a ball of playdoh, and several others want to join them, who are you to stop them? Who are you to *judge* them?
I think you got the wrong person I never said these things? Check your source again.
Ad hominem
Right here:
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. Matthew 23:15
your using a newer post pagan translation. A translation changed by man. No different than the watchtower. Check the literal latin or hebrew translations, it’s not there.
